David Anderson, architect and MoDDD graduate, is currently deployed by RedR to Nepal to undertake camp planning for Bhutanese refugees. David has worked as a volunteer in Nepal on disaster recovery many times before but this time returns as an expert on mission responsible for the upgrading and replanning of two large refugee camps.
What is MoDDD?
The Master of Disaster, Design and Development (MoDDD) provides a global learning platform that enables graduates to work locally and internationally in the disaster and development fields, harnessing community-based, interdisciplinary thinking.
MoDDD is the only degree in the Asia Pacific region that enables students to work full time, while completing most of their degree online, before transitioning their careers into the humanitarian sector.
